
The Central Market is a Cultural, Artistic and Heritage Centre located near Petaling Street and opposite the Putra LRT station. There are many stores selling sourvenirs and clothings. The place also have cafe, food court and restaurant.
The Place used to be the Largest Wet Market in Kuala Lumpur.The Place was renovated and transform into a Cultural, Art and Heritage Center. It is a good Place for tourist to shop for sourvenirs. There are still many wholesalers operating out of the pre war shoplots within walking distant from the Central Market.
Batik clothes and design which are unique to the Malay Culture can be found here. Key chains, fridge magnates and minituare Twin Towers are also sold here. You can also buy local snacks and Dodol here.
